Noot! Noot!

It's true! Our childhood hero Pingu has just arrived here at Truffle Towers and is already causing quite a splash!

First launched back in 1986 and running for a whopping 157 mischief filled episodes, Pingu has been such a classic part of many of our childhoods and has always remained one of our best-loved characters ever. Often finding himself in tricky and seriously funny situations, the mischievous penguin meets the weird and wonderful challenges of life head on, as he grows into a cooler and wiser penguin along the way.

As suuuuch big fans of this little guy and his family, it was only a matter of time before we opener our doors to some super cool Pingu Merchandise.... and here it is!

Two huge bits of new here for you peeps, firstly the absolute legendary retro 80s cartoon The Raccoons turns 32 years old today (yes... this makes us feel old too), and secondly, it's back!!

Yep, during our recent interview with The Raccoons creator Kevin Gillis, we discovered that he is busy working away on a Raccoons comeback and they are creating all new episodes for us to binge on the floor in front of the TV in our PJs with a bowl of cereal.... just like old times. Exciting!

With a slightly new and more modern look using the latest animation technology, The Raccoons are set to hit our screens once more with a crisp, bold new look which aims to still capture the magic of the classic show we all know and love.

What's more, Kevin kindly send us some snaps of the initial designs for this return and we couldn't resist sharing them with you guys. Let's take a look!

Just from this logo of the mighty Evergreen Forest, we can see that things are looking bolder, brighter, and more crisp. Moving with the times, modern animation allows shows to be made much quicker and with much more dynamic movements.

Transformers fans rejoice!  This week sees the release of the long awaited new film Transformers: The Last Knight and expectations are suitably high!

Humans are at war with the Transformers, and Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving the future lies buried in the secrets of the past and the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Now, it's up to the unlikely alliance of Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg), Bumblebee, an English lord (Anthony Hopkins) and an Oxford professor (Laura Haddock) to save the world.

Any other plot details are being kept under lock and key but trailers of Optimus Prime fighting Bumblebee has got everyone talking, why are they at war with each other? Could the leader of the Autobots have turned to the dark side?  There have been multiple tag lines used on various promotional material for this new film such as 'Rethink your heroes', 'Every legend hides a secret' and 'For One World To Live, The Other Must Die'.  These cryptic clues have got us very excited and we can't wait to find out the true story!

It's been reported that this is the last Transformers film that Michael Bay will direct and also rumoured to be following him out the door is Mark Wahlberg, so will the next film follow a new direction?  Either way, Transformers and Michael Bay go hand in hand so enjoy his last film in the franchise while you can!  He recently said in an interview "I’ve done it enough, and I’ve had a great time doing it. I’m going out with a bang on this one, and I feel like you gotta go out while you’re ahead, you know." which all sounds positive for an action packed film!
