Can you believe it!? He doesn't look a day over 30! as amazing as it is to think, the caped crusader himself celebrates his 75 year of existence this year and we just couldn't resist paying our own little tribute to this true super-superhero.

Now a big as a lot of the iconic Superhero characters are, surely there are none as big as Batman! It wouldn’t be too forward to say that Batman’s probably DC’s most famous and most recognizable character versus the likes of Superman.

First swooshing his cape and flying into our lives in comic book Detective Comics #27, which hit the shelves back on March 30, 1939, it wasn't until later on that the first specific Batman published adventure of was published in the May 1939 issue in Detective Comics #27. Created and drawn by a 22-year-old Kane with his frequent collaborator, Bill Finger, who wrote the script which only spurred on the support for our hero.

With such a big buzz surrounding the Comic book scene over recent years helped thanks to huuuge blockbusting action films, video games, upcoming collaborations with Superman and Batman and of course some wicked new animation work like 'Beware the Batman' and 'Son of Batman', the world has really been gripped by their magical powers which without a doubt has inspired the future generation's love for these iconic characters.

To celebrate this triumph and momentous moment, we thought we would put together a little run down of some of his career highlights to show you just how far this character has come and all the amazing things he's been up to. Dive into the world of Batman with us folks!

That time again already?!  Wow this day has come around faster than a Wookie down a water slide on Park Street!

Yep, today the world goes Star Wars fanatic once again as it's May 4th which can only mean one thing.....National Star Wars Day! – 'May the 4th'… 'May the force'… get it?! Cool huh.

With so much hype surrounding the new films and particularity the release of the cast line up (which we covered on our blog HERE.....go see who they are!), it seems this movie icon is one again rearing it's helmet wearing head and will be back in action bringing us all new action and adventure and no doubt plenty more future classics in our movie collections!

Now traditionally, Star Wars day is celebrated by fans and fellow eccentrics everywhere by wearing Star Wars T-Shirts, amazing costumes and generally as much gear as possible while making force-related puns and of course a lightsaber noise or ten...our idea of heaven right!?

It's finally happened Star Wars fans! Yep Disney and Lucasfilm recently just revealed who will be donning the costumes and getting in front of the camera to film the next instalment of the Star Wars empire. Take a look!

With some old familiar faces as well as plenty of fresh young talent landing the job, actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), and Kenny Baker (R2-D2) as they do their thing once again.

That's right folks! We can hardly believe it! Yep it’s been a full ten years of trying to make "fetch" happen, ten years of always wearing pink on Wednesday and of course ten years of some of the best bitchiness ever!

This top teen flick pretty much captured the times when it was made, the fashion, the music and we'll the attitude of the main cast was witneted by a lot during the school years. Not only that though, this film also helped to launch Hollywood's biggest female comedy stars, according to Neil Flynn who more famously went on to play The Janitor in Scrubs. You know who we mean right?

For the past couple of months now we've been pretty hot on our Mean Girls fandom, even producing our very own range of Mean Girls T-Shirts and Vests! Certainly a time to celebrate we think!
