10 Things You [Probably] Didn't Know About...Transformers
Transformer fans unite! To celebrate the release of our amazing new and exclusive Transformers clothing, we've been searching the interwebs high and low for some amazing nuggets of retro information about the coolest Alien robots around. We just love to keep you clued up huh! :)
For over three decades, our lives have been influenced, impacted, transformed by giant robots from the far away planet Cybertron. For them, it has been millennia of civil war, fights and trouble, but for us, it has been decades (scary!) of watching, playing and loving these iconic Autobots and Decepticons.
However you came to love these guys, sit back and enjoy our perhaps slightly hidden treasures of some of the most iconic retro characters ever!
1. According to Bob Budiansky, the writer for the Marvel Comics series, Hasbro originally thought the name Megatron sounded too villainous. Budiansky pointed out that was the point and Hasbro went along with the suggestion. Thank you Bob. The evil Decepticon could be known as nothing else!
2. Fans of the cartoon Robotech found an odd similarity between the Valkyrie jet-transforming-robot suits and the action figure of Autobot Skyfire. In Japan, they used the same model to produce both toys. In the cartoon, the Decepticon-turned Autobot giant jet didnât look like the alien-killing Robotech vehicles. But when kids received Skyfire the toy, many little heads were scratched.
3. The Transformers began with the 1980s Japanese toy lines Microman and Diaclone.
4. Optimus Prime's original name before he became Autobot leader was Orion Pax in the television series. Orion is the mythological Greek hunter while Pax is Latin for peace. In Latin, Optimus means "best"; "Prime" comes from primus, meaning "first".
What Time Is It? Adventure Time! Amazing New Accessories Now In...
That's right folks! We've been hard at work (and having fun doing it) searching for yet even more amazing products inspired by one of the biggest cartoon shows going, Adventure Time. For those not in the know, Adventure Time is a USA grown animated series that follows the weird and funny adventures of Finn, a human boy, and his best friend and adoptive brother Jake who is a dog with magical powers so he can change shape and grow and shrink to whatever he likes. Sounds cool huh!

As huuuuge cartoon fans, naturally a lot of our time each day is spent watching them, talking about them, and maybe even drooling over our fab collection of Cartoon T-Shirts that we've worked so hard to compile. With so many amazing new series to pick from as well as the old classic, it's hard to know where to start! One of our top picks for sure has got to be the amazing Adventure Time series which has taken the world by storm and earned a cult status for both young and (ahem) older viewers.
For those not in the know yet....get on it! Taking place in the post-apocalyptic land of Ooo, sometimes awkward teen boy Finn and his adopted talking shape-changing dog Jake find themselves in some pretty amazing adventures with the other list of regular characters including the likes of Princess Bubblegum, The Ice King and Marceline the Vampire Queen.
What ourselves and many many others out there love it's all out creativity, coupled with the amazing relationships and story lines that not only sooth us after a long day but can also leave us with some good old fashioned life lesions and teachings. What a show! :)

Can you believe it's been a year already?! Frankly we're 'shocked' at how fast this has come around and how much we still love it. We are the biggest of bigs kids :)
With the nation getting all dressed up in their fancy dress finest ready to hit the streets (or bars) for some good ol'fashioned trick or treating, or having a night in full or frights and some traditional but smelly pumpkin carving (a very typecast veg these days the poor thing) we've decided to give you guys some last-minute inspiration with some amazing retro inspired pumpkin.... well....pieces of art in our eyes.
