Mr T Turns Six-T One Today!

Happy 61st Birthday FOOOL!
That's right folks, it's the A-Team/Rocky legend Laurence Tureaud's big day so we thought we would take the time to show our love for this retro 80s icon we've know and loved for as long as we can remember.
In 1980, Mr. T was spotted by Sylvester Stallone while taking part in NBC's "America's Toughest Bouncer" competition. Although his role in Rocky III was originally intended as just a few lines, Mr. T was eventually cast as Clubber Langwho we all love to hate.
In The A-Team, he played Sergeant Bosco "B.A." Baracus, an ex-Army commando on the run with three other members from the United States government "for a crime they didn't commit." As well as the team's tough guy, B.A. was a genius mechanic but afraid of flying (I ain't gettin on no plaaaine!). When asked at a press conference whether he was as stupid as B.A. Baracus, Mr. T observed quietly, "It takes a smart guy to play dumb."
He has also been a professional wrestler, pop star with his single 'Treat Your Mother Right' and these days is well know for is clip show World's Craziest Fools. Check out his amazing rap track below..

Our Top Retro Dads
Hi peeps!
Just when you thought we had covered almost everything retro inspired idea on our little corner of cyberspace, POW! here we are with yet another look back at the great and good from the 80s, a retro reminisce if you wish.
With Father's Day fast approaching (16th June), we thought we would take some time to look back and pick out some of our all-time favourite Dads either from the small or big screen. Some quirky, some strict, som...well...different in their own way let's say but we love them all the same.
George McFly
Somewhat of a timid and shy character at first, George is Marty McFly's Dad from Back to the Future 1-3. For those who have yet to see these classic...what are you thinking?? but anyway....George is portrayed as weak and the main target of Biff Tannen's bullying. He later, thanks to some help from his son Marty, musters up some courage and get what he wants and ends up with the girl. A lovable guy, George is a great part of the film series.
Wayne Szalinski
If you haven't recognised him already, it's the Dad from Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. The classic tale where this wacky scientist accidently shrinks his two kids and two others the the size of insects...as you do. As you can imagine, being that small is a scary place and the tale follows the kids journey of survival while they encounter ants, sprinklers, cerial and more. Okay okay, so maybe it's not the best parenting you will ever see, but this zany guys is so lovable and you have got to admire his passion and creativity huh.
The Great Gastby Out This Thursday!
With the new movie due to be released in a matter of days we are excitingly awaiting being able to wear our The Great Gatsby T-Shirts!
An adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's Long Island-set novel, where Midwesterner Nick Carraway (Tobey Maguire)is lured into the lavish world of his neighbor, Jay Gatsby (Leonardo DiCaprio). Soon enough, however, Carraway will see through the cracks of Gatsby's nouveau riche existence, where obsession, madness, and tragedy await.
A few things you might not know about the book/film:
One alternate title for the book was, "Under the Red, White, and Blue"
