Like busy little Raccoons ourselves, we've been hard at work with Kevin to create some all new and exclusive Raccoons T-Shirts which are now on the site! Swimsuits at the ready! The new Baywatch movie hits our screens at the end of the month and we actually.can't.wait. Starring Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Zac Efron, it's sure to be hilarious, tongue-in-cheek and slightly ridiculous (obvs).

In the meantime, we thought we'd take a look at what made the oh-so-cheesy 80's mega-hit show so darn great - from the running scenes to the one-liners, along with a few fab facts even the biggest fan might not know…

ALL the Slow Mo Running

Ah, that famous running along the beach, as slow as their legs could carry them! This iconic calling card of the show has inspired a thousand parodies, sketches the world over - from Friends to The Muppets - and even a 'slow-motion' marathon, happening to celebrate the new film (in case you're wondering how it works - people have to reach the finish line of the .2k race in the 'slowest and sexiest' fashion, to win!

But why the slow motion running on Baywatch in the first place, we hear you ask? Whatever the unintended consequences, it was apparently inspired by one of the producers shooting sprinters in a similar way at the 1988 Olympic Games. David Hasselhoff also claimed recently that is helped to paid out the 50-minute running slot on their super-low budget.

Whatever the reasons, we love it and are totally working on our own runs this summer - iPhones at the ready…

Hopping and leaping our way around the TV schedule, we've sniffed out a whole hear of hidden retro movie eggs for you all to feast on this long weekend. Unwrapping each film like our Easter chocolatey goodness, we'll take stock of our collection, before selecting only the biggest and best choices and devouring them in true 'tis but once a year style'.

Doctor Who fans rejoice! Following an achingly long 12 month break, Series 10 is due to kick off this weekend and expectations couldn't be higher!  I'll warn you now, there may be a couple of light spoilers ahead so tread carefully!

The wonderful Peter Capaldi will be returning as the Doctor (in what has been confirmed as his final series) and he will be joined by a brand new companion in the form of Bill Potts played by Pearl Mackie.  Also, very excitingly, Matt Lucas (who I'll always remember from Shooting Stars and Little Britain!) will be returning as Nardole, a character who was last seen in the 2015 Christmas Special.

The first episode is called The Pilot and will show The Doctor meeting Bill while working as a lecturer in a University, he then of course whisks her away to his weird and wonderful world. Show writer Steven Moffat has promised that this episode is a great starting point for anyone who's not seen the show yet, so there's no excuse not to get involved!

It also wouldn't be Doctor Who without a couple of scary moments to get us hiding behind the sofa courtesy of the huge range of villains that the series is well known for. It seems that new sidekick Bill is going to get chucked in at the deep end as the first episode is said to feature the greatest of all enemies, The Daleks!
