Our Top Films Turning 30 in 2018
We're back again with another look at just how old we all are the best films which are reaching a mighty milestone and turning a cool 30 this year! As we all know, 30 is the new 20, right?
Always ones for a spot of nostalgia, we thought we would take a quick trip down memory lane and remember some pretty classic films that will be turning a cool 30 years old in 2018! as scary as some of these are. Let's go!
Big
Now THIS is a classic! Starring a young Tom Hanks, this late 80s comedy gem saw told the tale of a boy (Josh) who simply dreams of being.. well.. big. After making a wish on a Zoltar machine, Josh wakes up in the body of an adult but with his young mind. Certainly one of our top picks from the body/mind swap saga which has been a Hollywood staple for decades, we love getting to watch Tom be a big kid and of course... the iconic piano scene!
The Weekly Retro Movie Rundown 265
Great balls of fire! Another movie packed weekend is among us, can you smell it?
Setting up our little white ball on it's plucky little wooden tee, we will slowly and eagerly line up our shot. Taking a little practice before, we will begin to line up our club of choice behind the ball as we gaze into the distance to really visualise what's about to happen. With our head held down, legs slightly bent and shoulders relaxed, we will pull back the club before swooshing through with more rhythm than a grandfather clock. Will the ball go where we aimed? The ducks on the pond better hope so!
