Kiai! Kicking and punching our way through another week, we find ourselves once again facing a whole heap of classic retro movies before us like kickboxing pads ready to be engaged. We'll duck and roll our way along as we take on any tale before us in true cinematic glory!

A hi-tech computer chip has a bizarre effect on a squad of toy soldiers, causing mayhem for their owner as the miniature marauders engage in a series of scaled-down skirmishes. Children's adventure mixing live-action and computer animation, starring Kirsten Dunst, Denis Leary and Gregory Smith, with the voices of Tommy Lee Jones, Frank Langella, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Christina Ricci.

Big Daddy (1999) 5STAR 12:35pm-2:25pm
An immature 32-year-old is heartbroken when his girlfriend walks out on him. In a plan to win her back, he volunteers to look after his flatmate's five-year-old son, thus demonstrating he is finally ready to grow up. However, his ideas of childcare prove unconventional and chaos quickly ensues. Comedy, with Adam Sandler, Joey Lauren Adams, Jon Stewart, Josh Mostel, Leslie Mann, Rob Schneider and Kristy Swanson, alongside Steve Buscemi in a cameo role.

A boy goes on holiday with his grandmother to a seaside hotel hosting a convention of witches, who have come together to hear their leader's plan to turn all the children in England into mice. When the chief hag discovers the young lad eavesdropping at their meeting, she decides to make him one of her first victims. Children's fantasy directed by Nicolas Roeg, based on the book by Roald Dahl, and starring Anjelica Huston, Mai Zetterling, Jasen Fisher, Jane Horrocks, Rowan Atkinson and Brenda Blethyn.

Daffy Duck tires of playing second fiddle to Bugs Bunny, so sets off to seek his fortune. He ends up helping a would-be stuntman rescue his screen idol father, in reality, a secret agent, who has been kidnapped by the deranged chairman of the Acme Corporation. Live-action and animated comedy, with Brendan Fraser, Steve Martin, Timothy Dalton and Jenna Elfman.

Up, up, and away! Slowly rising up from the grassy fields, we find ourselves in total wonderment of the eligance, style and total coolness of our situation.
As we climb higher and higher, more and more of our surroundings are revealed in silent and beautyful glory.

The plucky sea creature sets out to prove his boss Mr Krabs is innocent of stealing Neptune's crown. However, the missing item has ended up in sinister Shell City, which all sea-dwellers fear and from which few have ever returned. Animated comedy, with the voices of Tom Kenny, Bill Fagerbakke, Clancy Brown and Scarlett Johansson, plus a cameo appearance by David Hasselhoff.
