The Weekly Retro Movie Rundown 109

Hulkamania! It must be the weekend!

So on a dewy wet morning amongst the weeds on the patio of an older couples cottage, let us be your slimy velocity challenged invertebrate as we sluggishly drag ourselves across paving slabs of retro movie magic. We'll slowly devour your prize petunias with cinematic gusto before we succumb to the ever looming threat of the giant welly that is celluloid wonder.

Amazing Superhero Art by Melissa Smith

Now it might not be such a massive surprise to those of you who know us....but we're kinda huuuuge Superhero fans!

Starting back in the day growing up (ahem, not too long ago thank you) when getting our hands on the latest comic book meant not only entertainment for the next few days, which actually turned into years, but the chance to get lost in another universe where hidden heroes walked among us and did things we could only dream about like flying, super speedy running and of course amazing strength.

From these early days of attaching tea towels to our shoulders and running around as fast as possible so it blew in the wind, we were hooked and thankfully we're not the only ones! Yep artist Melissa Smith has created some simply amazing artwork containing some of the biggest and best Superheroes ever.

So simple but yet so much detail! Love it! Take a peep all you hidden heroes.....

Addict Clothing and Marvel have partnered together to create these amazing comic t-shirts with designs from three awesome UK illustrators. Mitch, Shogun and Alex ‘Odisy’ Young bring their own unique interpretations to some of Marvel’s most iconic characters; Hulk, Wolverine, The Thing, Captain America, Iron Man and Spider-Man.Each artist has been inspired by Marvel comics since childhood, resulting in a set of tee graphics designed from the heart. Individual styles and techniques combine to showcase a diverse range of skills, forming a cohesive and complimentary collection which embodies the true spirit of Marvel...In this interview Marvel speak with one of those artists, Alex ‘Odisy’ Young.
