Great Scott! It's Only Exclusive New Flux Capacitor T-Shirts
Shooting it's way to you leaving flame trails as it goes, our latest designs are packed with retro technology and know how that will launch anyone into not just into the past or future, but movie t-shirt nirvana!
Inspired by the iconic 80s flick Back to the Future - possibly one of our all time favourite films everrrr - our latest designs feature the real hero of the film, the amazing Flux Capacitor created by Emmett Brown AKA The Doc who famously came up with the idea back in 1955 after slipping and bumping his head while standing on his toilet to hang a clock. We think the bang to the head explains a few more things too...
What is it? Well put simply by the man himself...."is what makes time travel possible."! While much to our younger selves heartache, the inner workings of this amazing masterpiece are not revealed, weird that one huh, all we know is that the iconic DeLorean car has to be traveling at exactly 88mph and also be producing 1.21 gigawatts for everything to it's thing. Not always as easy at it sounds!
.
Share you love for this 80s hero with our exclusive new range of Flux Capacitor T-Shirts and Vests from only £19.99....a damn sight cheaper than the real thing but equally as powerful! Take a peep...
Inspired by Darren Rawlins, Our Favourite Retro Cars Transformed!
Howdy TruffleShufflers! This week we found a cracking little Tumblr page from the very talented Darren Rawlins. Heâs done a series of cartoons that takes the cars from some iconic retro shows and imagines what theyâd look like as TRANSFORMERS!
Have a look at his work here.... darrenrawlings.tumblr.com whilst we run down our Top 5 Transformers from Retro Shows Inspired by Darren Rawlins!
.
1) First up, itâs a TruffleShuffle favourite, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtlesâ Party Wagon! Built by Donatello, this awesome van came with all kinds of handy accessories, including missiles, breakaway doors, a radio broadcaster and parts of it could even be used as a ramp to get the Turtles out of trouble! We think the Transformer version would be pretty badass, especially if it had a few karate lessons from Splinter!
2) In a close second, we just had to pick the Batmobile. Itâs been through dozens of crazy incarnations and hosted a vast array of mental weaponry but Darren has opted for the red-detailed one from the 60s TV show and Tim Burtonâs sleek 1989 entry. Now, the TV show Batmobile displayed more gadgets than you can shake a batarang at in its 2 year run on our screens, but Burtonâs incarnation famously included grappling hooks to scale walls, a bulletproof finish and one stonking great afterburner at the back. That makes for one pretty terrifying Transformer if you ask us, letâs hope heâs not a Decepticon...
Buyers Picks: Festivals
As the first stages of Spring, 'spring' into action and we are taken aback by the sight of blue skies and that warm tingly sensation provided by the lesser spotted sun, I get to thinking about what fun things the Summer has in store. First and foremost is festival planning! So this months look is a geared around preparing for festival season and TruffleShuffle certainly has a lot to offer in this department!
I can picture myself at Festival Number 6, enjoying wonderful music, poetry and culture, all in the wonderful surroundings of Portmerion, and there WILL be sun which means I need plenty of tshirts and some groovy sunnies at hand.
Here are my hot picks for girls ...
NEW BRAND ALERT! New Tees From Kill Brand Now In!
New clothing brand Kill Brand are in the house! Yep we've just got our eager hands on some amazing new designs from this edgy US label
In 2001, Kill Brand clothing was created by musician, Jonny Smith. While on tour in the band, he ran into a problem -- no clean t-shirts. With a hot pink T-shirt and black spray paint, Jonny randomly graffitied K-I-L-L across the front of the T-shirt, and took the stage. This fresh trend took fans by storm and has become a real rock fashion must-have!
Kill Brand offers up some bold graphics & cheeky attitude for a fun, contemporary look. A great way to add some attitude to you style.
