Flurry and slush! Another retro movie weekend is before us and boy is it a beauty!
Waking up bright and early like the many days before, we slowly ease ourselves into the day with a hot cuppa and a cold milky bowl of something sweet. Stretching out the front door into the bitter cold and blistery winds, we are greeted with what we would describe as the worlds most iced up windscreen ever. Chipping and scraping away at the stubborn cold layer of doom, we'll begin to see our efforts pay off and just in time before all feeling from our hands is lost.

Finger lickin' good! Another retro movie weekend is here and boy oh boy are we glad!
With another retro movie weekend ahead of us, we'll sit like a old and wise native American as we survey all the lays before us. Plucking out only the very best of hits like picking out the best feathers for a headdress, we'll watch with eager eyes some of the biggest on screen action like gazing at the dancing flames on a fire.

Like a well rehearsed and totally committed high board diver taking part in an international event (you choose), we find ourselves stepping up the long and nervous climb to reach our platform. Taking a moment to take in the scene, atmosphere and to gain composure, we'll steady our breathing before stepping towards the edge of the world. Counting down to the big moment, we'll coil like a spring ready to leap into action before springing into action for our moment of truth.

With another landscape of retro movie awesomeness stretching before us, we find ourselves at a loss of where to start! Will it be thriller? Will it be comedy? Only the overlord of the remote control can decide with their entrusted powers. Whatever the mighty one decides, with the huge array of choice and wonder available, we will be left wide-eyes and wanting more.

So like one of the top local quiz teams who are fully clued up and ready to rock, we find ourselves once again sat, ready in anticipation for an evening of the unknown challenges await us. We'll fend off even the most strange of far afield questions like a top retro movie hero does their enemies before sitting back to enjoy a brief moment after a job well done. Will we be victorious? Only time will tell....but first let's get another round in.

Our Top Films Turning 20 in 2016!
With another year of epic films gone and certainly plenty in the year ahead to look forward to, we thought we would take a quick trip down memory lane and remember some pretty familiar films that will be turning a cool 20 years old! Scary we know.
Now, some of these might shock, amaze or perhaps just make you realise how old things (and you are). We certainly fall in the latter category!
So! Take a little trip down memory lane with us and take a peep at some of our favourite films that were released way back in 1996 which is weirdly not only ten years ago despite what our mind like to make us think sometimes. Enjoy!
