We all know them and I'm sure we all love them! Roald Dahl's amazing body of work has been with us for as long as we could possible remember.

Not only would today have been today Dahl's birthday and also the official celebrated Roald Dahl Day, but this years also sees the 50th anniversary of one of his most infamous classics Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Wowza!

Gin and tonic! Is it the weekend already?!?!

Just like a master cocktail maker, we'll find ourselves looking over the huge list of enticing movie names, picking out a few with just the right ingredients and then setting to work mixing up the array or juices, ice, limes and liqueurs as we shake together the concoction, leaving us with a sweet and strong glass of movie magic. We'll gaze at the wonderful colours and paper umbrellas, not before snapping our wonderful delights to be forever captured onto celluloid wonder.

Big news peeps! We've got word that one of the most iconic retro TV shows....well...EVER, The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air was first aired a whopping (Gulp!) 24 years ago today!

Yep the show that gave us the legend that is Will Smith, Uncle Phil, Carlton, Jazz, Geoffrey and of course Hilary hit the scene nearly two and a half decades ago and has been well and truly in our hearts ever since.

Now apart from now feeling far older than we thought we were, we decided to celebrate this momentous day by looking back and seeing just what this amazing show meant to us and how it helped make us who we are today. Take a peep at some of the top things Fresh PRince taught us and perhaps you too!

Au contraire! Can you believe it!? This great British icon originally started life back in 1981 and has been classed as a classic ever since.

With sooo many brilliant comedy moments (and quotes!) to hold to it's name, this hit show managed to mix classic comedy with compassion, joy, tears and everything in between to keep us hooked.

This time we've been routing around the simply AMAZING collection of backpacks from top brand Sprayground and bagged ourselves some fab new designs that are just perfect for anyone who is looking for something a little funkier than your average.

With so much buzz around the upcoming new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film (released 17th October), we just had to snap up these amazing new bags featuring each of the iconic characters in all their glory. The only question is....who will you be?

If you're as big a fan of the cheeky chappy who live in the sea, you'll just LOVE our amazing new SpongeBob Squarepants backpacks! Either rock him as a part sponge part shark combo, or as a super sneaky but probably very clumsy ninja, our amazing new bags are the perfect back to school companion or perhaps as a funky weekend bag.

5....4....3....2....1....Thunderbirds are GO!

We can still remember it now, the opening titles, the excitement of getting to see what the heroes of Tracey Island would be up to next and what catastrophe or evil villain they had to deal with, all taken in their bouncy, puppety stride.

For as long as we can remember, we've been the biggest fans of Thunderbirds along with a whole line of kids from its humble beginnings back on September 30th, 1965 (nearly 49 years ago!).

It had everything, the characters, the gadgets, the cars, the planes and of course....its own Island! Not only that, but at every moment you found yourself trying to spot the strings (which wasn't tricky) and also when they had used someone's hand....probably the tea boy's, but all the while trying to believe it was all real. Simply magical!

Now, hopefully some of these won't act as a spoiler and perhaps young fans eyes should look away, but we've been busy digging out some of our favourite pictures of the creative geniuses putting together this iconic show for you all to see.
