Like…Clueless is Totally 19 years old Today! So where are they now?

Can you believe it! The film that gave us some of the most classic 90s quotes, clothing, names and of course moments turns 19 years old TODAY!

As hard....or perhaps just scary as it is to think, this 90s retro icon was released back in 1995 in the US of A which to us seems like just a few years ago, turns out to be nearly passing the two decades ago mark! EEEP!

So we all know far too much to be healthy about this classic film, but do you know where some of this amazing cast are today?

We'll, in fairness we sure didn't, so we decided to do a little digging and share with you all what we found during out exploration.

Sit back, relax and take a look at our Clueless....

Where are they now?

Cowabunga! 10 Things You (Probably) Didn't Know About... Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

In celebration of our fab new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles T-Shirts and in anticipation of the release of the brand new reboot film which hits our shores on 17th October we are dedicating this blog post to Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael and Donatello.  I am proud to present to you 10 things you (probably) didn't know about everyone's favourite ass-kicking reptiles.

1. The turtles started life as a brainstorming session between friends Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman in 1983, they found the idea of a slow, cold-blooded reptile with the speed and grace of a Japanese ninja very funny and the concept grew from there.  Using money from a tax refund and borrowing from Kevin's uncle they formed Mirage Studios and self published the very first issue of the Turtles comic.  From humble beginnings...

2. This original comic series was actually pretty adult, the turtles would slash and stab their enemies with their weapons and they even killed off Shredder in the first issue!  They even liked to drink a spot of booze and throw around a swear word or two, but then don't we all!  Shredder was brought back to life in 1987 when he became the Turtle's arch nemesis.

3. Shredder was inspired by Kevin Eastmen seeing a large cheese grater and inquiring "Can you imagine a character with weapons on his arms like this?"

Guest Post: My Work Experience at TruffleShuffle By Henry

Hi guys, my name is Henry Vanderhoest and I have just finished a week of work experience at Truffle Shuffle.

For each separate day I had various tasks and jobs to do in different departments that the team had planned for me to do in order for me to get a good understanding of how the business works and what each individual working for Truffle Shuffle does to help it be as successful as possible.

In this blog post I will be talking to you through the daily things I got up to during my week experience.

Monday

When I arrived for my first day at Truffle Shuffle, I was welcomed my Pat and was introduced to the whole team. I was told for my first day I will be helping out in the warehouse. I was explained how the warehouse operates and how it is set out in order for products to be collected and send as soon as possible. Pat told me that Monday is the busiest day of the week, as there is no one in the office during the weekend, so all orders from Friday evening to Monday morning are ready to be collected from the shelves. My job was simply to pick up each separate sheet of orders and see what product had been ordered and then locate it using the individual location code that is on each order.

So, for most of the morning and part of the afternoon I was collecting all the products that have been ordered and piled them up, ready to be delivered to the customers.
