It's time to review your recent TruffleShuffle purchase!

Not only has Halloween crept up on us - but the end of the month is here too, which - at TruffleShuffle can only mean one thing: REVIEW OF THE MONTH!

As you may know we are running an extra special discount code for you lovely lot, so the warehouse boys have been extra busy picking orders - which means there should be goodies dropping through your letterbox over the next couple of days! All you have to do is add a review on the product page - telling us why you love your new TruffleShuffle item so much - we will then choose our favourite and award them £50 to spend on the site. It couldn't be easier!

Last months winner Tia Gold, left us this glowing review of her first purchase with us...

'This was the first time I have used Truffle Shuffle, but it wont be last. I ordered the DJ Yoda t'shirt as a present for a Star Wars fan who also happens to be a DJ. He loved it and kept saying "Dance I will make you for the force is strong in me". Anyway, as a seasoned internet shopper I have to say that truffle Shuffle has one of the best customer services I have ever come across. I actually thought the force might be real when my items turned up on Saturday morning, as I'd only placed the order on Friday afternoon. Use again will I. Good are you!'

If you've recently bagged yourself one of our new Star Wars t-shirts why not follow Tia's lead and tell us why you love it so much...? In true 'TruffleShuffle' style we have extended the time you have to leave a review, meaning you have until Wednesday morning to review your favourite TruffleShuffle products. We also want to hear what Fancy Dress Costumes you guys donned this weekend (and what kind of reaction they got from fellow 80's enthusiasts!)

Need Inspiration? The TruffleShufflers Have Created Some Retro 80′s Pumpkins To Die For!!!

This week, the TruffleShufflers have been racking their brains and seeking inspiration for that well-known Halloween dilemma, what the hell do I carve into my pumpkin???

Yes, for this week's Friday Facebook competition, everyone at Truffle Towers was given their very own pumpkin with the brief that we had 2 days to design and create a character carving with a retro, 80's spin.

Well, I must say the end results were very impressive! After a week of highly competitive talk and secretive Internet researching, the portly pumpkins have now been papped and released on our Facebook page!

The name of the game is to LIKE or comment on your favourite to help us decide which TruffleShuffler deserves the title of Pumpkin carving chief! The one with the most votes wins the TruffleShuffler a prize and whoever likes or comments on any pumpkin gets popped into a hat and we'll randomly select one of you to win a special Halloween treat! You can enter here until 2pm today so please do get invovled!

So, here are the entries..

Sunny, You Goonie!

Heeyyy you guys!

It’s been a little while since I submitted a guest post for TruffleShuffle, so I thought I’d better make this one a really good one!

Well I don’t know about you but there was clearly only one topic that I could talk about:

‘The Goonies’

Probably one of the best films EVER. You can quote me on that one too!

A few weeks ago, The Goonies was on one of the TV channels. Despite the fact that I have it on DVD and must have watched it at least a trillion times, I always get excited when it comes on. So much so I have to let all my friends and family know it’s on. You can't beat watching it live! :)

Who Wants To See What Amplified Have Planned?

On Wednesday a few of us Trufflers travelled to London to see what Amplified have in store for us in their next collection and so we thought we would share a few of the sneaky peek pictures with you. The Amplified Preview day was held in a perfectly "Amplified" building in Hackney called the Depositories which is where Dragon's Den used to be filmed - how exciting!

As well as some amazing new bands and great new imagery we got to see the fab new shapes and styles Amplified have been working on and we just know you are going to love them. To see us through the cold winter months there are a collection of warm and cosy sweaters for men and ladies.

Our favourite item from the day was the new ladies speckled sweater with a new Ramones print which has just been introduced and is a great flattering fit, we think it is a great winter wardrobe necessity.

Weekend Movie Sofa Challenge 2 – The Sequel

O.k. so two weeks ago I set myself a challenge to watch as many movies as possible over the course of a weekend.

I’m almost ashamed to say I failed that challenge. I put it down to a short attention span and consuming too much alcohol on Satuday night which meant I got out of bed to find I'd missed most of the day. EPIC FAIL!

Luckily though, all is not lost! Whilst browsing the good old TV guide this week, I noticed that Sky movies sci/fi has a Superman marathon on (not easy at all to say.)

Yes all my fellow wannabe Superheroes, all four Superman movies starring the legendary Christopher Reeves along with Superman Returns are being shown on Sunday from 12:40 pm onwards.

Unfortunately for me however, I don't have Sky nor do I know any one that does, bad times! Never fear though, if you’re in the same boat and need a retro movie smack upside the head this weekend, here’s an alternative list of old school delights available to you this weekend on good old regular television.

What a wünderful advert...

So who's seen the new Müller ad? It's RETROTASTIC!

The company responsible for this advert is Studio TRI. These guys are also responsible for other great ads such as John Lewis' 'Never Knowingly Undersold' TV Advert, Yeo Valley's The Churned 'Forever' X Factor Advert and my current favourite ad the Walls Talking Dog - "Garage" Advert. All of them completely random, but all of them create great talking points.

Anyway, back to the new Müller ad.....

An advert that starts out with K.I.T.T from Knight Rider is 100% bound to capture my attention. But I never expected the ad to contain quite so many cult cartoon characters. Yogi bear is the second surprise in the ad (but sadly lacking a Boo-boo bear), but just as you're trying to figure the link between Knight Rider and Yogi Bear a whole host of boring business men are being turned into Mr Men and Little Miss characters??!?!? The screen is literally bursting with retro cartoon characters!! I counted 19 Mr Men and Little Miss characters, see if you can find more. The ad starts to take a slightly darker turn and needs saving... Who could possibly save the day? Muttley from Wacky Races of course!

To say this ad left me a little shocked and surprised would be an understatement and I don't really care about the what's, where's and why's of this advert and its links to yoghurt but all I know is I like it.

So may I thank Müller and Studio TRI for creating adverts I genuinely enjoy.

Here's the ad in question, enjoy....
