This morning I received a very interesting package! Tearing apart the brown paper layers, it soon became clear there were some VERY special goodies hidden beneath. A small feast of astronaut food! Thanks to the lovely guys who supply us with our NASA tees, we were able to sample the delights of 'freeze-dried ready to eat space food' (something that by the sound of it, the boys had wanted to do for years!). First up was the Mint Choc Chip Ice Cream, followed by the Chocolate Protein Bar and to finish, the Peanut Butter Protein Bar. The concept is weirdly exciting, the flavours weirdly accurate and the texture, interesting!

Honouring the birthday of Roger Hargreaves, the master illustrator and author behind the Little Miss and Mr Men books we all adored as kids (and as adults too) who would have been 76 today. Who was your favourite character? Mine was Little Miss Splendid (for reasons I really shouldn't need to explain, teehee). With only a month or so to go until the 2011 MTV Movie Awards - the nominee list has just been revealed and we're pleased to see a superhero-worthy number of nominations for films, actors and notable moments from this years most successful page-to-screen adaptations.

MTV's Rick Marshall gives us the rundown on the comic stars who've made a big impact on the big screen this year ......

In the Best Breakout Star category, it's Spider-Man vs. Hit-Girl as "The Social Network" actor Andrew Garfield vies against Chloe Moretz, the ass-kicking, pre-teen dynamo of "Kick-Ass." Also nominated is Jay Chou, who also kicked a significant amount of ass as Kato in "The Green Hornet."

The Best Villain category features the comics-friendly duo of Christoph Waltz in "The Green Hornet" and Mickey Rourke in "Iron Man 2." We're not sure why none of the Evil Exes from "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World" made the cut here, but hey, we don't make the rules.

It feels like another "Scott Pilgrim" snub here, but the only comic book movie to get a nod in the Best Fight category was "Kick-Ass" — specifically, the very-worthy brawl between Chloë Moretz and Mark Strong.
