The adorable Miffy turns 60 this year and TruffleShuffle is celebrating in style with an exclusive range of Miffy clothing, all inspired by legendary Dutch artist Dick Brunaâs so-cute-it-hurts creation.
Dick created the classic children's character, Miffy, in 1955 whilst on a rainy seaside holiday in North Holland. A little bunny kept hopping around the garden of his holiday home - he sketched it by day and at night made up stories about it to entertain his one year old son. That bunny later became Miffy.
60 years later, there are 32 storybooks about Miffy, which have sold over 85 million copies and are translated in more than 50 languages which just goes to show how much we all love her!

Like an eager angler who loves nothing more than to hit the river banks, we're loading up our bags with all the weekends' essentials before heading out to stalk the deep waters. We'll cast out into only the perfect spots using only our finest and most secret baits before waiting patiently but apprehensively for that float to drop down below. Instantly... we're on and with great skill and determination we have caught the finest retro movies there is to offer before weighing in and capturing this mighty beast onto celluloid wonder for the world to see.

So no one told you life was gonna be this way. Your job's a joke, you're broke, your love life's D.O.AAAAAAA!
Even just hearing (or reading) these iconic lyrics sends us right back to the mid-90s and early 00's! Getting to see the gang do their thing at central perk long before 'banter' became a thing and just being...well...friends was all you needed to have fun was such a weekend highlight.
Friends really helped to capture and define this era and sooo many of us were just hooked on their weird and wonderful lives. Through all the craziness, highs and lows, we all (if secretly) wanted to be a part of their lives. Hell, if you watched enough of it you probably did feel part of their lives!

The Weekly Retro Movie Rundown 148
Holy sweet potato! It's really the weekend again? So soon? Well....
Hitting the roads like a speed demon, we'll be donning the cycling shoes, cycling jersey and of course trusty helmet as we make our way through the mornings hustle and bustle. We'll swiftly slip our way through the gears, peddling frantically and taking on the longest and steepest of hills, stopping only to capture our sights onto celluloid wonder. Reaching our destination with heavy breath, we find our reward of that fresh hot morning cuppa. Bliss!

Such a blast from that past or what! Fendish Feet were a real early 90s childhood classic and were sooo much more than a simple yogurt, they were a treat, a toy and possibly the ultimate desk tidy even today!
Originally sold in multipacks with different flavours although the the four main flavours were, Spooky Wooky (banana), Fangs a Lot (strawberry), Frank 'n' Stein (raspberry), and Rattle 'n' Roll (chocolate), Fiendish Feet were the must have post dinner treat and deciding what to do with your pots after was an art in itself!

These came during the real decade of the yogurt long before the times of organic, friendly bacteria, drinkable, protein packed types we have now. Simple, fun and well....amazing!
