What do Superheroes do when they need extra back up (and there's no other option!)? Get together with other heroes, of course! With a reputation as a 'non-team', the original defenders were a loose affiliation of heroes founded by Doctor Strange and The Incredible Hulk - and lots of heroes have wandered in and out of the group ever since.
