Now some of these might be a little hard (and painful) to believe, but some of our and hopefully your favourte films are growing up fast and will be turning a whopping 20 years old! Eeep!

So many iconic flicks that in our minds must have only come out no more than 5 years ago, first entered our lives for good wayyy back in 1994.

Now that doesn’t seem that long ago right? Even though all of these films are now old enough to drink, gamble and smoke (we wouldn't recommend any obviously), it's simply amazing just how much these films are loved even now and considered total classics!

Yes folks it's that special time of year where kids everywhere and of all ages come together to help make their superhero mums feel that little big extra special.

Day outs, heartfelt treats, breakfasts in bed and of course chocs and wine (weekend essentials) are all on the agenda today as we all try and make today go with a bang and say thanks to all the wonderful things that our unsung hero mums soo all year round.

We’ll stomp mud holes and walk them dry all over cinematic greatness before hitting our glorious finishing move we like to call celluloid wonder, for the three count and the victory. Oooooh yeah!

All of glitter and gold filled dreams just came true!

We'd been given a nod by our friends at Hasbro that some BIG Jem news was on the way and here it is....

Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun, G.I. Joe: Retaliation director Jon M. Chu and Paranormal Activity producer Jason Blum announced via YouTube that they're working on modern day, live action reinvention of the 1980s Hasbro classic....

For the film, the trio are aiming to crowd-source crucial elements from casting to costume design. 'It's sort of like Kickstarter,' says Mr Chu, 'but instead of asking for your money, we're asking for your creativity.'

Fans can upload videos and photos to YouTube or Tumblr explaining what they love best about the original Jem with the hashtag #JemTheMovie.

PLUS They're put out an open casting call, asking people who can sing, dance and act to upload a two-minute video showcasing their talents for a chance to be involved.
