The TruffleShuffle 'Book'et List

We recently ran a literature themed Friday Competition on our Facebookpage to celebrate the arrival of our new Out Of Print T-Shirtsand the response we got was amazing. The question was....

‘If you could create a film from any book that hasn't already had one made, what would it be and WHY?'

We had hundreds of suggestions: some old, some new and some a little strange – The Dictionary and The Phone Book?!! Us bookworms couldn't let this fantastic opportunity go to waste and so we decided to create our very own TruffleShuffle Reading List and thought we would share it with you.

We have something for everyone – funny, sad, horror, thriller, fairy-tale; sadly, we couldn't list them all but there were some firm favourites suggested numerous times and some great write ups, see if any take your fancy!

See if yours made the must read list and see what others have to suggest, our Kindles are now fully loaded with literary delights! :-)

With 9 mentions the book that came out top (and we can't believe we haven't read!) is:

Autobots Get a Makeover for Transformers 4!

Great news for all you Transformer fans!

The epic Michael Bay movie series is set to hit our screens once again with number 4 next year (June 29, 2014), but this time the bots have been give more than a lick of paint!

Each character as been given an amazing 'transformation' - see what we did, and are looking as ready for business as ever with some million dollar exotics taking the stage and some classic American muscle to back them up.

True hero of the Primes, Optimus will be taking on a slightly more modern look with this custom-built Western Star truck that still adorns the classic flame decals for his iconic look. It was thought that his older look was slightly dated for the new flick but what do you think?

As for the rest of the crew, Bumblebee has taken a look from the past and will now be rocking a classic 1967 Camaro in his signature black and yellow uniform. A slighly older cool look, we love this as it reminds us of some amazing car scenes in classic 70s films. Take a peep!

Mr T Turns Six-T One Today!

Mr T

Happy 61st Birthday FOOOL!

That's right folks, it's the A-Team/Rocky legend Laurence Tureaud's big day so we thought we would take the time to show our love for this retro 80s icon we've know and loved for as long as we can remember.

In 1980, Mr. T was spotted by Sylvester Stallone while taking part in NBC's "America's Toughest Bouncer" competition. Although his role in Rocky III was originally intended as just a few lines, Mr. T was eventually cast as Clubber Langwho we all love to hate.

In The A-Team, he played Sergeant Bosco "B.A." Baracus, an ex-Army commando on the run with three other members from the United States government "for a crime they didn't commit." As well as the team's tough guy, B.A. was a genius mechanic but afraid of flying (I ain't gettin on no plaaaine!). When asked at a press conference whether he was as stupid as B.A. Baracus, Mr. T observed quietly, "It takes a smart guy to play dumb."

He has also been a professional wrestler, pop star with his single 'Treat Your Mother Right' and these days is well know for is clip show World's Craziest Fools. Check out his amazing rap track below..
