Squirrels Like Junk Food Too!

With the new batch of awesome Junk Food Tees now unpacked and on the shelves all ready for our amazing Truffle Shuffle fans and customers to get there retro fingers on. I was asked to write a quick little blog to give you a little taster of these sweet new designs, the first thing I thought of was SQUIRRELS! It may have been the lack of sleep and too many cartoons over the weekend but it seems to have left me a little squirrel obsessed or...'nutty'.

10 Things You [Probably] Didn't Know About Top Gun!

As soon as you here the opening chords of Kenny Loggins’ "Danger Zone," you are transported back to a time when the coolest men in the universe were flying F-14 Tomcats for the Navy and had silly names like Maverick, Goose and Ice Man. "Top Gun" made Tom Cruise a household name and gave Meg Ryan one of her first movie gigs. But even though it’s one of the most frequently quoted guy movies, how well do you really know it? Here are some facts about "Top Gun" that might surprise you.

10 - The bar in which a boozy rendition of "Great Balls of Fire" was performed is real, and still exists. It’s called Kansas City BBQ, and it’s in San Diego, California. Although a 2008 fire destroyed a lot of its memorabilia, the piano is still there and they still sell Top Gun t-shirts.

Top Geeks of the 80s!

Everyone loves a good geek, whether you can simply marvel at their genius, or smile at their quirky geeky ways they never fail to intrigue and entertain us on the big and small screens.

With the geek clothing scene these days bigger than ever, it seems revealing you inner nerd has never been cooler. Modern day screen heroes are more and more not the all-out amazing lead roles, but increasingly the cooky sidekick that can out gadget and out think any challenge. With some amazing new characters hitting the big time recently such as the new Dr Who, BBC Sherlock series and Q from James Bond played by Ben Whishaw, we thought we would take the time to appreciate the geeks of old with our Top Geeks of the 80s list!

Best known for his roles as The Geek in 'Sixteen Candles,' Brian Johnson in 'The Breakfast Club,' Garry Wallace in 'Weird Science', Anthony is well known and loved by all retro film lovers in the land and we're sure everyone has a little bit of his characters inside them. Geeky but cool!
