The Weekly Retro Movie Rundown 7!
There are four good reasons to stay in this weekend and watch movies with us. The first being the cruddy weather, the second that the Jubilee is finally over and everyone should be all Queenâd out, the third is if youâre a football widow of the Euro 2012 action and the fourth being that there are some quite tasty films on! Below is a list of twelve flavoursome nostalgic treats to wrap your retro movie taste buds around. We hope you enjoy.

SATURDAY 9th JUNE
Hocus Pocus (1993) More4 12:10pm-2:00pm (1 hour 50 minutes)
A teenager in Salem, Massachusetts, breaks into a spooky house on Halloween and accidentally resurrects three witches who have been dead for 300 years. The sorceresses are soon causing chaos while seeking a suitable sacrifice for a ritual to give them eternal youth. However, an old foe - a boy they turned into a cat - is on hand to help stop their mischief. Supernatural Disney comedy, with Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy and Omri Katz.

Ah! Sunshine, you come and go like a chirpy little yellow sparrow and if you wish to stay a little longer that would be just divine!
If your sunburn has forced you stay indoors this weekend and I know someone out there is suffering, do not worry thereâs a cornucopia of nostalgia on your telebox. This weeks Retro Movie Rundown is strangely full of crazy baby antics, little blue people, more caveman action and includes the Fresh Prince and Martin Lawrence in Bad Boys, Bad Boys, watcha gonna do, watcha gonna do when they come for you?!

Look Who's Talking (1989) Watch 6:10pm-8:00pm (1 hour 50 minutes)
Pregnant Molly is dumped by her boyfriend, and sets out after the baby's birth to find a surrogate father for her infant son Mikey, who comments on proceedings through a wisecracking inner monologue. Mikey is confident the cab driver who helped deliver him is the perfect man for the job - but his mother is less than convinced. Comedy, with John Travolta, Kirstie Alley and the voice of Bruce Willis.

Well, if the weather keeps up this nice warm summery fuzzy feeling then I donât doubt weâll be spending our time outside enjoying a B.B.Q, playing some frisby and falling asleep in the garden trying not to get burnt. But, as ever if Mother Nature's mood changes and you're compelled to come inside weâve compiled a list of pure Retro Movie Entertainment for your peeping pleasure. Including everyone's favourite bird flipping orangutan, skate boarding caveman, and just because I havenât quite got over how awesome Avengers was the equally awesome Fantastic Four.

An Egyptologist and a soldier head an expedition through a mysterious portal to an alien planet. The world they find resembles ancient Egypt, and is under the sway of a tyrant who has convinced the downtrodden inhabitants that he is a god - until the humans incite the enslaved populace to fight back. Sci-fi adventure, starring Kurt Russell, James Spader and Jaye Davidson.
Every Which Way But Loose (1978) ITV4 5:45pm-8:00pm (2 hours 15 minutes)
A street-fighting trucker and his beer-drinking orang-utan companion set out on a cross-country road trip to find a runaway woman, while a motley gang of bikers and two vengeful cops follow in hot pursuit. Action comedy, starring Clint Eastwood, Sondra Locke, Geoffrey Lewis and Beverly D'Angelo.

Minimalist Superheroes
There's nothing I like more than Trawling the internet for random pictures and videos. And every so often you find fresh artistic talent that just catches you eye, in this case made even better by its retro inspired theme. These Minimal Superhero Posters by art student Calvin Lin perfectly demonstrate my point.
The minimalist designs are great, from Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman to Green Lantern and others, every poster is also 100% clear, without ever showing too much.
I don't know about you, but I'd love these hung around my house!
