The Weekly Retro Movie Rundown 196
Chicken in a basket! It's another retro movie filled weekend again? So soon? But how the....?
Like a super keen runner who has been in the depths of a training routine for longer than they can remember, we find ourselves just days away from our goal....the next local 10k run. We've worked hard, been rained on, and blown from left to right by the great British Spring weather and now it's the real challenge. Will we beat our previous efforts? Will we be overtaken again by the IT guy who thought training was only something that happened on the railways? Only time, will tell.
Have a happy retro weekend!

Can you defeat the Labyrinth or will Jareth turn Toby into a goblin babe? You have 13 hours to find out with this epic board game base on the classic Labyrinth movie by Jim Henson. Each player takes on the role of either Sarah, Hoggle, Ludo, or Didymus and much like the film, players have '13 hours' to navigate Jareth's labyrinth to rescue baby Toby. The gameplay is designed to be fast-paced, family friendly, and open for up to four players.
The game consists of two distinct stages, one where the group must adventure through the labyrinth trying to find the goblin city whilst keeping their willpower as high as possible (nobody wants to fall into the oubliette!), and a second action packed stage where the players must fight their way into Jareth's castle where Sarah must say the magical words that will release her brother.

The the beard of Zeus! It's only another retro movie filled weekend!
Like a keen and very armature paintball team who are geared up and ready to rumble, we find ourselves faced with another round of adrenaline fuelled mayhem. Firing out what can only be described as a flood of paintballs at anything that moves and plenty of things that don't, we'll run, jump and hide our way to victory like many action movie heroes before us.
Have a happy retro weekend!

Chilli and rice! It's another extra long retro movie filled weekend?! Well....if we must!
So like one of the most talented and determined ice sculptors in the land, we find ourselves faced with a big block pure and clean ice acting as our blank canvas. With our mind racing with the possibilities, we'll begin to chip and chisel away at the super cooled goodness as we create one of our finest pieces. We'll rub and scrape our work into everything we imagined fully in the knowledge of it's impending doom. While it might melt and disappear in front of our eyes like each and every retro movie weekend, what will remain are the memories and experience of what once was. So how will you shape your ice?
Have a happy retro weekend!
