Willy Wonka's factory! Can it be? So soon? Is it....really....the weekend?!
Like a hardworking, creative and ever so slightly extraordinary chocolate factory owner, we find ourselves once again in front of a whole world of possibilities. We could mix a touch of comedy with a splash of sweet, or perhaps mix some thriller flavours with a hint of romance. The choices are endless! After everything has set, we can take a taste of some of our creations and always dip back into them thanks to the magic of celluloid wonder.

10 Things You [Probably] Didn't Know About…The Movie 'Elf'!
Ever since its release back in 2003, Elf has been a part of every Christmas for us. Bringing Buddy back into our lives once again filling us with Christmas joy, we simply can't imagine a Christmas film list that doesn't include this Will Ferrel classic!
His unstoppable charm and spirit have come to be a staple in many homes over the festive season reminding us of that little kid inside all of us who just loves decorations, Christmas trees, gifts and of course SUGAR!
Just before we all settle town to tuck into this modern classic (if you haven't already!), why not take a peep at our 10 Things You Didn't Know About The Movie Elf so you can annoy wow all your fellow viewers. Enjoy!

Double rainbow! Is it really the weekend? Already? So soon? Okay!
Like a local food guru taste testing their way through a local fate bake competition, we find ourselves once again facing a whole line up of treats, all waiting for us to sample, enjoy and reward. We'll work our way through the cinematic greats like tucking into some delicious fruitcake, sweet, homely, and hearty all topped up with a sneak of alcohol. A perfect movie night in!

Flash! Bang! Ohhhhhh! It's only the weekend again!
Getting geared up for another wet and windy fireworks extravaganza, we find ourselves once again faced with an evening or delight ahead of us. Like some of the most iconic retro movies around, a good old display will brighten up our faces in the dark, get our senses tingling and leave us smiling and always wanting more! We'll enjoy our evening with a nice hot cup or coco before getting to warm up by the fire and let all that we see take us back to years gone by.

Getting geared up and ready for the nights scary action, let us be your group of trick or treating zombies, vampires and werewolves as we eagerly make our way through the streets going door to door, scaring all that we see as we go gathering more and more sugary treats of the night from more and more unsuspecting victims! Let us be your trusty pillow case as we fill ever more with cinematic greatness, before bursting at the seams, spilling our celluloid wonder all over this weekend!

A naive country boy arrives in Paris, keen to seek adventure and prove himself a swordsman. He falls in with a trio of roguish soldiers, and together they set out to save the queen from the schemes of a treacherous cardinal. Swashbuckling adventure, starring Oliver Reed, Michael York, Richard Chamberlain, Frank Finlay, Charlton Heston and Faye Dunaway.

Tomato and basil! It's only gone and been the weekend again!
So, like an eager but very amateur home cook, we find ourselves once again faced with a whole host of different ingredients at our disposal like the list of top retro films over this weekend. We'll carefully (but mostly guessing) select the perfect ingredients to help create the perfect blend of flavours, colours and smells that will create just the right dish to sooth our grumbly belly. Just like the end credits of our favourite films, the empty plate will leave us feeling satisfied, but always wanting more.
