Fight for your right to be retro....
![]()
Here at TruffleShuffle we have an excellent range of music t-shirts. We've got designs featuring Blondie, Blink 182, Kiss right the way through to Guns N Roses and The Who. But one new design that caught my eye the other day isn't very obvious as a music t-shirt.......
Its a t-shirt that is worn by Ad-Rock from the Beastie Boys in the video (You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!). Its a Physical Education t-shirt for a New York high school, Stuyvesant High School. Fight for Your Right is one of the most popular Beastie Boys singles and was their fourth release from their 1986 debut album Licensed to Ill.
This t-shirt is for fans of the more subtle retro look and will get you that 'knowing nod of appreciation' from other Beastie Boys fans.

Junk Food and Ford Tees!
You Need Nickelodeon!
Have you got fond memories of rushing home from school and slumping in front of the amazing kids channel Nickelodeon for hours on end? Or maybe you even appreciated the finer points of it's cartoons as an adult, like I do now! Either way, we've got a treat for you to help remember those halcyon days!
First up we have the deliciously dark Invader Zim! This series was about an extraterrestrial named Zim from the Planet Irk, and his ongoing mission to destroy the planet Earth, which (luckily for us) never seemed to go to plan! Our tee features his quirky and loveable robot servant GIR, who was the ultimate fan favourite from the show.
Next up we have the awesomely bright and colourful show Rocko's Modern Life which aired between 1993 and 1996. This show was based around the surreal adventures of a wallaby named Rocko, and his life in the city of O-Town. Originally from Australia, it showed the hardships of Rocko adjusting to the American way of life! Our brand new T-Shirt focuses on Rocko and his faithful dingodog Spunky.
Rock 'n' Roll....definitely our cup of tee!
With so many festivals going on, rocking reunions, anniversaries and such - we thought it would be only fair to pay homage to some of the best rock bands around (past AND present!)
When it comes to retro inspired music t-shirts - we really do have quite a lot to shout about. With names like Chaser LA, Amplified Vintage, Junk Food and Worn Free - getting the Rock Chick look couldn't be easier!
Being a massive fan of anything Rock n Roll inspired, I thought I'd take you through my top 5 'rock' items on the site - and introduce you to some of the new ranges we've recently added.
First up, Rolling Stones- these cheeky chaps have just celebrated their 50th anniversary. Out of our collection of Rolling Stones clothing, this speckled sweater from Amplified Vintage has to be my favourite...perfect for wearing over a band tee!
Join the Kiss army, by showing your support for the iconic band with this Amplified Vintage Khaki t-shirt!
Global Hypercolor T-Shirts Are Back!
A couple of weeks ago, we asked our Facebook fans who had a Global Hypercolour T-Shirt when they were younger. Due to the overwhelming response, we realise we should have reworded that to who DIDN'T have a heat sensitive colour changing t-shirt !
We had an amazing response from the Facebook post, in fact, one of our best responses ever... 55,000 people saw the photo we posted, nearly 1,500 liked it, 150 commented and 150 shared it!
So if you want to revive your 80s wardrobe with a heat sensitive colour change t-shirt, then get to TruffleShuffle and snap yours up today!
