Amazing New Out of Print T-Shirts You Literary Won't Want To Miss!

As big book lovers, we just love getting the chance to sit back, relax and dive headfirst into a good book.

You really can't beat getting lost in a story that can quickly whisk you off to another land. One moment you could be sat on a hot busy train chattering down the line, and then the next off on an weird and wonderful adventure on a tropical island or perhaps being chased through busy streets by some secret agents. Anything is possible!

It's this passion for stories that inspired one of our favourite clothing brands, Out of Print into action. Capturing some of the most iconic books and their artwork, they work closely with the creators and designers to ensure that the end result is a perfect reflection of the original classic. It certainly shows!

But wait it get's better, for each Out of Print T-Shirt sold, one book is donated to a community in need through their amazing partner, Books For Africa.

Take a look at some of our latest designs that have just hit the TruffleShuffle shelves this week....

Awesome Behind The Scenes Jaws Piccys To Sink Your Teeth Into...

We can still remember it now. Curled up on the sofa, desperately trying to grab as many pillows as we could get our hands on to hide behind, only peeping through the cracks in our fingers to catch a glimpse and quickly back again. This of course was our first 1975 classic Jaws experience and...well... we loved it!

Every once in a while a film comes along that totally changes the game, whether it's with ultra cool new revolutionary special effects, amazing acting performances, or perhaps all out shocking storylines we'll never forget. These films quickly go down in history and earn themselves the title of a classic or perhaps a retro movie icon, Jaws is certainly one of these films!

Directed by movie legend Steven Spielberg, Jaws (based on the books) follows the story of a small island community called Amity which quickly becomes the hunting ground of a huuge (no really...huge!) Great White Shark. After some odd goings on and an attack on a local boy, the mother of the latest victim put a large bounty on the sea beast's head which soon sends would-be shark hunters on the case to catch their prize, but this is only the start of the Sharks feeding frenzy....

.

Always wanting to have a little nosy into some of our favourite films, we've been doing a little swimming around the depths of the internet and have discovered some simply amazing behind the scenes shots of the great beast itself and of course the iconic cast and crew. Take a peep at some of our favourite snaps and perhaps put some of those deep blue sea fears to bed :)

Exclusive New She-Ra Clothing You'll Just Adora!

For the honor of Greyskull! Just when you thought our warehouse shelves couldn't possibly hold any more awesome retro designs, we've only gone and packed in even more leaving the rafters fit to burst with some exciting new designs!

This time we've been inspired by the amazing retro hero...She-Ra!

Lovingly known as He-Man's hot twin sister (maybe by the guys here at TruffleShuffle anyways), She-Ra has become one of the most iconic cartoon heroes of a generation. Not only was she possibly one of the most powerful women ever, she lead the Great Rebellion in the hope of freeing their homeworld of Etheria from the tyrannical rule of Hordak, Evil Horde, and later on Skeletor.

With such an all round amazing and classic character, we're gone all out with our latest designs.

Featuring the Princess herself, this also comes complete with a distressed gold foil embellished print for some extra vintage style and retro points for a great original tee feel like it was plucked straight out of the 80s.

Not wanting to leave anyone out the of action, we've put our design on a ladies rolled sleeve tshirt, a men's style t-shirt and of course a vest for the summer months. Take a peep....

Can you believe it! The film that gave us some of the most classic 90s quotes, clothing, names and of course moments turns 19 years old TODAY!

As hard....or perhaps just scary as it is to think, this 90s retro icon was released back in 1995 in the US of A which to us seems like just a few years ago, turns out to be nearly passing the two decades ago mark! EEEP!

So we all know far too much to be healthy about this classic film, but do you know where some of this amazing cast are today?

We'll, in fairness we sure didn't, so we decided to do a little digging and share with you all what we found during out exploration.

Sit back, relax and take a look at our Clueless....

Cowabunga! 10 Things You (Probably) Didn't Know About... Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

In celebration of our fab new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles T-Shirts and in anticipation of the release of the brand new reboot film which hits our shores on 17th October we are dedicating this blog post to Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael and Donatello.  I am proud to present to you 10 things you (probably) didn't know about everyone's favourite ass-kicking reptiles.

1. The turtles started life as a brainstorming session between friends Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman in 1983, they found the idea of a slow, cold-blooded reptile with the speed and grace of a Japanese ninja very funny and the concept grew from there.  Using money from a tax refund and borrowing from Kevin's uncle they formed Mirage Studios and self published the very first issue of the Turtles comic.  From humble beginnings...

2. This original comic series was actually pretty adult, the turtles would slash and stab their enemies with their weapons and they even killed off Shredder in the first issue!  They even liked to drink a spot of booze and throw around a swear word or two, but then don't we all!  Shredder was brought back to life in 1987 when he became the Turtle's arch nemesis.

3. Shredder was inspired by Kevin Eastmen seeing a large cheese grater and inquiring "Can you imagine a character with weapons on his arms like this?"
