Big news peeps! We've got word that one of the most iconic retro TV shows....well...EVER, The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air was first aired a whopping (Gulp!) 24 years ago today!
Yep the show that gave us the legend that is Will Smith, Uncle Phil, Carlton, Jazz, Geoffrey and of course Hilary hit the scene nearly two and a half decades ago and has been well and truly in our hearts ever since.
Now apart from now feeling far older than we thought we were, we decided to celebrate this momentous day by looking back and seeing just what this amazing show meant to us and how it helped make us who we are today. Take a peep at some of the top things Fresh PRince taught us and perhaps you too!

If like us you were born in one of the best decades ever (not that we're biased of course), you fell instantly in love with Mikey, Chunk, Mouth and Data when they hit the scene and took us on one of the best adventures ever way back in 1985.
Since the very first car chase scene and introductions to these iconic characters, we were hooked. We all had our favourites and all wanted to go for a quick explore in the loft to see what treasure we could find to start our very own adventures. As some of you might be aware, we're huuuuuge Roald Dahl fans and not only that, this year sees the 50 year anniversary of one of the biggest child's book ever written, of course... Charlie And The Chocolate Factory!
Still as loved now as it has ever been, this classic tale has been made into two full feature movies and has captured generations of minds and young readers all around the world.
For those not in the know, (go read it now!) this iconic tale follows the story and adventures of young Charlie Bucket who finds a golden ticket for an exclusive inside tour of the mysterious chocolate factory which is owned and run by eccentric chocolatier Willy Wonka.
