TruffleShuffle.com Buyer's Look Of The Month - September
I get nostalgic pretty much every day working at the Truffle HQ, but can't help but go a little weak at the knees when new Care Bears merchandise comes in.
I collected the cards, had the cuddly toys, watched the cartoon, had the pencil case, all of it! If they there was tinned spaghetti in the shape of Care Bears (which I expect there most probably was), I'm sure I would have had that too!
So this month's look is centered around our super cute new vintage print Care Bears t shirt on the popular and uber flattering rolled sleeve boyfriend tee (which has proved a massive hit with you)! I am also loving the current trend for midi skirts (no embarrassing moments on blustery days - phew!) and simply teaming with some classic Converse All Star high tops, you simply can't go wrong!
And to when you are unwinding after all that shopping, why not take your tea in this super cute Retro Care Bears Mug! Ahhhh...
Na-Nu Na-New Mork And Mindy T-Shirts Now In!
We're sooo excited to have our latest designs in! From such a classic show too!
Inspired by the huuuge hit, Mork and Mindy was an American sci-fi sitcom that was broadcast back in 1978, right up until 1982 on their popular channel ABC.
Now, we're sure that this show could be a few years before your time. It certainly finished before many of us TruffleShuffler's had landed on earth in our own little eggs! So here's a little rundown...
The show tells the tale of the space alien from the planet Ork named Mork, played by screen legend Robin Williams, who (crash) lands his egg-shaped ship into planet earth after he is sent to study humans. He quickly meets Mindy, a sweet 21-year-old played by Pam Dawber who having just been abandoned by her boyfriend, needed to be chaperoned back to town. She decided to help Mork to adjust to life on Earth and they become great friends despite Mork usually frustrating her.
At the end of each episode, Mork reports back to Orson (his long-suffering superior) on what he has learned about Earth. These end-of-show summaries really are the peak of the shows humour and generally involve making fun of the things we all do.

This time, we've been looking into some amazing facts from none other than 1990, Johnny Depp classic Edward Scissorhands!
Possibly one of Depp's best performances, this cult icon really showed us his amazing skill to portray so many emotions using as fewer words as a movie dares. Simply amazing stuff! Take a peep at some of our 10 Things You Didn't Know About Edward Scissorhands!
1) According to the director Tim Burton, Edward's suit was made of (among other things) latex, leather, the old sofa in his first apartment and tape.
2) Johnny Depp only says a total of 169 words through the whole film. Easy script or what!

'Blow' Up Dolls! (Danger UXD, 1989)
Del thinks he's got a bargain when he gets hold of a consignment of blow up dolls on the cheap. Little does he know that they are self inflating and filled with propane.
