Top Retro Video Games: Then Vs Now!
Hello retro gamers! No doubt if you're reading this, you're one of those lucky few who have grown up through one of the most exciting ages for gaming.
Yep new gamers these days enjoy their HD graphics, online streaming and uploading, international seamless multiplayer, as well as wireless controllers and now even no controllers at all! We love all of these things, but a classic retro gamers, we've been able to really see just how far things have come first hand and for every new game, upgrade and accessory that is available, see our 7 year old self's wildest dreams come true in more ways that we could imagine!
To help show what we mean, we thought we would take a few moments to look back at the classic games we all loved from the 80s and compare them with their modern day counterparts (sort of). It's amazing how far things have some and just think of where they'll be in another 20 years when we're playing our PS10's in our rocking chairs :) Enjoy!

Forgotten Fashion Brands....
I forget what triggered the conversation in the office the other day but we somehow got on to the conversation of retro brands that you just don't see anymore.....
Whether you were after some new jeans, the latest trainers or some new cool t-shirts these brands were what I wanted. Unfortunately with these brands vanished before the digital age of social media or the internet there really isn't very much information about them so I'm not sure how widespread the appeal was. Hopefully the brands I've focused on mean something to you guys around the country. But here's some of my favourites anyway....
The Sweater Shop - Sometimes parents made/needed their offspring to look 'smart' and there was only one garment to do this, a Sweater Shop sweater! A good quality, heavyweight, knitted jumper was always a parent pleaser and luckily highly fashionable at the time. They came in a multitude of (generally hidious) colours and designs to suit most tastes and occasions. A wardrobe must-have that earned you 'cool points' down the youth club.
