TruffleShuffle Insider: Meet…James
Here it is! Working our way through all the lovely names and faces of the TruffleShuffle dream team, we've been taking a little time each month to put one unsuspecting victim member of staff in the spotlight as we fire a whirlwind of questions at them and see what spins back out.
This time it's the turn of creative genius James to take the hot seat so we can show the world, who he his, what he does here at Truffle Towers and what makes him tick. Sit back and enjoy everyone!
What do you do here at Truffle Towers?

30 seconds of pure WANT - Classic 80s Toys Ads.
Remember the days before iPads and Playstations where you had to use your imagination a little or play the game with an actual person in the same room?? No nor me, but apparently they are now retro games and toys!! Whether it was the family favourite board game or your favourite sylvanian family it now seems far more friendly and sociable than shouting at a french 15 year old whose just crushed your kill ratio on Call of Duty. Get ready to hop back to the 1980s, because weâre revisiting some of the best 80s toy commercials. They may have only lasted an average of 30 seconds (Hard to believe, right?) and been packed with loads of imagery, a jingle and the usual fast-talking small print but they live on for years conjuring great memories of enthusiastically writing Christmas lists mid September! So get ready for a trip down memory lane as I show you my favourite toy commercials of the 1980s! So sit back, relax and get ready to remember what playtime was like before technology took over.
Teddy Ruxpin the storytelling bear was one of the most popular 1980s toys. Today, a toy like this would be able to recognize what kids said to him and respond and be completely programmed on some sort of chip. Back in the day, Teddy Ruxpin worked with a cassette tape but we all still thought he was the coolest thing in the world. Can you imagine a toy running on a cassette tape today?
Our Classic Childhood Toys and Games, Then and Now!
We've all got cherished memories of the favourite toys we had when we were growing up and here at TruffleShuffle we are dedicated to bringing these memories flooding back to you with a collection of great Games T-Shirts and Toys T-Shirts. I am going to take you lucky people on a trip down memory lane with this blog post and then bring you bang up to date as I take a look at some of our favourite toys and games we had when we were younger and what those toys look like now, some of them have evolved in very interesting ways...
My Little Pony first trotted onto the scene in 1983 and was instantly popular with little girls all over the world. First arrivals included Blossom, Cotton Candy, Minty and Snuzzle and there have been many more additions over the years including fan favourites such as Applejack, Princess Sparkle and Lickety Split. The cute and girly look of these toys are instantly recognisable and synonymous with the 80s!
My Little Pony has evolved over the years, but the most radical makeover came in the form of My Little Pony : Friendship is Magic which launched in 2010. These ponies have been given a new Japanese inspired style and have gained a whole new fan base of boys and girls of all ages. The 'Brony' fandom are a passionate lot and their community has made sure that the love for My Little Pony is still going strong after all these years.

We LOVE how the fab prints on a Mr Gugu & Miss Go tee go all around, up and down and around about, basically covering the whole garment from top to toe (or neck to hem). This makes them super special, splendiferous creations which really make a statement and stand out from a regular, run of the mill tee (not that you will find any of those on our site, thank you, no siree Bob).
And what's more the designers here at Truffle Towers and Mr Gugu & Miss Go have been collaborating, resulting in our very own range of EXCLUSIVE tees, sweaters and gorgeous dresses. So do not tarry and get yourself on down to our home TruffleShuffle.com to sample some of these delicious delights!
