This weekends picks are an amalgamation of modern day classics and nostalgic retro masterpieces. I sincerely hope you take some time out to enjoy some of the films on offer this week and don't forget to let me know what you thought of them all!

SATURDAY 12th MAY
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) Channel 4 6:35pm-10:00pm (3 hours 25 minutes)
An unassuming hobbit is plunged into a battle against the forces of darkness when his uncle bequeaths him a magical ring of immense power. He joins a fellowship of heroes to embark on a perilous quest to destroy the ring before it falls into the hands of its creator - a dark lord who needs it to regain his power and conquer the world. The first part of Peter Jackson's epic fantasy trilogy based on JRR Tolkien's novel, starring Elijah Wood, Ian McKellen, Viggo Mortensen, Sean Astin, Christopher Lee, Liv Tyler and Orlando Bloom
The TruffleShuffle My Little Pony!
There are a LOT of My Little Pony fans here at Truffle Towers so when one of our lovely customers who has her own business making custom Ponies got in touch with us, offering to make us our very own TruffleShuffle Pony - unsurprisingly, we leapt at the chance!
Victoria who runs Equine Vulgarity is a master of creating bespoke versions of the cartoon cuties we all grew up with so we asked her to come up with an 80's tastic Pony to become the Truffle Towers unofficial mascot!

Isn't she a beauty!
She comes complete with a neon mane, beaded accessories, bright leg warmers and her very own old school pink visor - a true 80's vision!
Now all that remains is to give her a name - what do you think guys? We'd love to hear your suggestions!
Sneaky Disney Couture Preview!!
We get hugely excited at TruffleShuffle Towers at the arrival of new jewellery, especially Disney Couture with its beautiful pieces and fabulous attention to detail. The latest collection that we are expecting in the coming weeks is based on Snow White, Cinderella, Tinkerbell and Winnie The Pooh! I have a few pictures to share with you and thought you might like a sneaky peak so you know what to expect and perhaps add to your wishlists!

So grab some munchies, relax, peel your eyes open and enjoy!
SATURDAY 5th MAY
Die Hard (1988) Channel 4 9:30pm-12:10am (2 hours 40 minutes)
New York cop John McClane is in LA to visit his wife and kids over the Christmas holiday. Stopping off at his wife's place of work, he realises armed men have hijacked the building and are holding the corporation's staff to ransom - and only he has the ability to fight back. Action thriller, starring Bruce Willis, Alan Rickman and Bonnie Bedelia.
Tango & Cash (1989) ITV4 9:30pm-11:35pm (2 hours 5 minutes)
Two rival LA detectives are constant thorns in the side of a ruthless drug baron, so he has them framed for murder and sent to prison. Surrounded by vengeful crooks they put behind bars, the combative duo are forced to bury their differences to escape and prove their innocence. Action adventure, with Sylvester Stallone, Kurt Russell, Teri Hatcher and Jack Palance.

Amazing, Cult Movie Tees
There's nothing we like better than snuggling up on the sofa under a blanket with a huge bucket of salty popcorn watching old school movies when the rain is pounding down outside! Our love of all the cult classics, has fed our insatiable desire to buy as many amazing movie tees as possible. Here is a little glimpse of some of the highlights.
The 80's heralded the arrival of a group of teens who made a massive impact on the movies of the day. Stars such as Matthew Broderick, Molly Ringwald, Ally Sheedy,Andrew McCarthy, Judd Nelson and Emilio Estevez acted out their angst in a series of coming of age films.
I Wish I Could Draw Something.....!
Here at TruffleShuffle.com we have become slightly addicted to Draw Something this week! For any of you not yet in the know about this new craze that is our latest obsession, basically it is an online form of the drawing game Pictionary. You are given a word and while you draw it on your phone screen or computer your friends have to guess the word you are drawing (well, trying!)
We thought our efforts were pretty good till we found these amazing masterpieces which quite frankly make our 'pictures' look more like colourful scribbles!
Drawsome Drawings on Tumblr has an awesome gallery dedicated to Draw Something works of art so we thought we would share some of our favourites with you including Lion King, Hello Kitty, Darth Vader, Pokemon and Superman hopefully inspire your future Draw Something creations!
