We're back with another 10 Things You Didn't Know About… special blog post peeps! Oh how we love to dig up some retro treasure and perhaps potential pub quiz trivia.

Today to help celebrate the release of our exclusive new Mean Girls T-Shirts we're diving head long into the weird and wonderful world of The Plastics with a little look at some top cool facts we discovered about 2004 classic! Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride...

1. Regina George's signature long, blonde hair was actually a wig. - Her hair was too short for the character's look so they had to improvise. Wouldn't have been the same without it right?

2. Lindsay Lohan was initially cast as Regina, but she didn’t want people to associate her with the “mean girl” character in real life. It happens right? Rachel McAdams was instead cast as Regina, because “only nice girls can play mean girls.”

10 Things 90s Gamers Will Remember…

As 80s kids, we spent much of our childhoods living through the weird and wonderful time that was the 90s. This was a strange, mysterious and generally colourful place where you could be wowed by even the simplest things like analogue controllers, 3D gaming and even split screen gaming!

Like most teenagers in the land then and now, gaming was a huge part of our social and anti-social lives. It passed the time during school holidays and weekends, it brought friends together aaaaand probably caused the odd sibling argument over who was hogging it the most. We've all been there.

Doing what we like to do best, we've been looking back on these good old days (are we really that old already?!) and thinking up some of our biggest memories from these pixel-tastic times. Check out some of our top retro gaming memories!
