Our Top Ten Albums Turning 20 in 2015!
As we all know from watching Ferris Bueller, time flies and it certainly does when it comes to music! There are soooo many classic albums that people love and which launched such big names into the world that will be celebrating their 20th birthday this year. It's a scary thought we know.
Yep all of these albums are now old enough to drink, drive, gamble and pretty much everything else we were told not to do growing up. To give ourselves and you guys a cheeky blast from the past and help relive the good old days, we thought we would put together a short list of our top ten albums turning 20 in 2015 and here you have them!
You might laugh, you might cry but one thing's for sure, you'll be shocked to think just how old these absolute musical gems and moments in history are! Enjoy!
Oasis - (What's the Story) Morning Glory?
Starting strong in our list of faves! This Oasis classic was just their second studio album and was packed with a list of their iconic ballads. This album was an instant success and went on to sell a record-breaking 347,000 copies in its first week on sale! With such a buzz surrounding the record and hit on there including 'Wonderwall', 'Don't Look Back in Anger', and 'Champagne Supernova', it's no surprise to know it spent a whopping 10 weeks at number one on the UK Albums Chart. What a gem!
Top News! Ghostbusters Sequel Cast Revealed...
It's back everyone! Yep the long awaited (30 years!) sequel to one of the most iconic 80s films ever has been confirmed at the cast revealed!
Since it's release back in 1994, Ghostbusters has become one of the films that defines a generation and era of Cinema. Snappy ad-libbed comedy from the like of Bill Murray, possibly THE best movie song ever and plenty of dodgy special effects (that were totally creepy back then!), this retro legend had everything going for it and certainly won our hearts from the very first watch which what inspired some of our very own Ghostbusters T-Shirts!
It seems that now just after its 30 year anniversary that the powers that be are firing up their proton packs, booting up and loading the Ecto-mobile with supplies as they gear up to create an all-female sequel! Exciting!
Not only that! The cast have finally been revealed which has only fanned our flames of excitement as there are some pretty big names set to full some pretty big ooze covered boots. Take a look at the fab new line-up....

The Weekly Retro Movie Rundown 134
Macaulay Culkin's scream! It's only the weekend already!
With a house rigged up to the teeth with traps, spikes, ice and the odd red hot handle, we're ready and waiting for the weekend to hit and bring with is all the mischief that's been building up during the last school week. We'll let the paint cans fly, our BB gun fire and spiders free as we take on all that the weekend can throw at us while doing our best to take in all the celluloid wonder that it brings with it.
