The TruffleShuffle Retro Cake Bakeoff
Here at Truffle Towers we've taken it upon ourselves to celebrate Easter with an old school, staff bakeoff!
Yup that's right - the whole team at TruffleShuffle were invited to come up with their very own retro cake creation to be judged by you lovely lot.
As all our lovely Facebook fans will know, here at TruffleShuffle, we run a weekly Friday competition (held on Thursday this week due to the bank holiday!) on our Facebook Page which gives one of our lucky fans the chance to win themselves a TruffleShuffle treat.
Well this week, for a chance to win yourself a retro tastic £25 TruffleShuffle gift voucher - all you have to do to enter is help us judge which of the team deserves the title of master baker by 'liking,' commenting or sharing the cake which you think is the best!

Super exciting news at Truffle Towers this week! We have been in touch with the king of mullets from the wonderfully wacky 90's kids show Fun House, none other than the phenomenal Pat Sharp!
We've got so many fond memories from watching Fun House when we were younger, it was always my dream to go on the show. I would have loved to run laps on the go karts, speed down the Skelter Belter, traverse the Danger Net, target the trash cans and of course meet the legendary Pat Sharp!
We are very proud to announce that we are going to be working on a few tees dedicated to Pat and his admirable and awe-inspiring blonde mullet. We are already busy cooking up some great ideas and slogans, but were also wondering if there was anything that you would love to see on a Pat Sharp T-Shirt. What are your fondest memories of Pat? TruffleShuffle Helps Chernobyl Children
We were contacted recently by the Chernoble Childrenâs Project UK as they are organising a charity ball to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Chernobyl accident and asked for our help with their fundraising.
The charity works with children in Belarus who have been affected by the nuclear disaster in 1986. Some of the many projects Chernobyl Children's Project undertakes include organising recuperative holidays in Britain for Belarusian children, providing sanatorium holidays for disabled orphans in cleaner areas of Belarus, delivering humanitarian aid, setting up projects in Belarus to improve the lives of suffering children and their families and providing training and support to make long-term changes to the lives of those affected by the accident.
The charity ball will be held on Saturday 1st October in Altrincham, near Manchester and has a 1980s theme and so we have donated a gift voucher for the raffle which the lucky winner can spend on our site!

We wish the Chernobyl Childrenâs Project UK all the best with their event and fundraising and look forward to hearing all about it. (with talk of our Rubik's Cube fancy dress costume, there are sure to be some great photos of the event which we will be sure to share with you!)
